Description
The Navigator Brass Gate Type Pump Valve is a compression x thread fitting. As its alternate name suggests, a gate valve, or sluice valve, raises a barrier to allow fluid to pass through. This type of valve typically takes up little space within a pipe and causes very little obstruction to flow when fully open. It is operated by turning a threaded stem multiple times to adjust its position. It includes a pre-loaded washer. Used for connecting domestic circulation pumps and copper pipes in central heating systems. Gate type pump valves come with 1 year warranty and are WRAS approved.
