Pipe in screed is perfect for newly laid floors in both new builds and renovations where the original flooring has been removed to enhance insulation and thermal performance. Unlike panel systems with fixed pipe routes set by board grooves, pipe-in-screed systems are typically faster and easier to install. The flexible, free-laid design allows for quicker routing, making it easier to handle transitions and navigate complex areas, such as room connections and corridors with multiple grouped pipe runs.

Pipe in screed systems offer flexibility in pipe laying patterns, accommodating various pipe sizes depending on the project. In residential applications, 16mm PE-RT or 16mm MLC pipe is most commonly used, while larger 18mm or 20mm pipes may be found in commercial projects. Pipes can be secured using cost-effective pipe clips or staples, which can be quickly installed with a tacker gun.
